In 2007, the International Consensus on the Diabetic Foot and the Practical
Guidelines on the Management and Prevention of the Diabetic Foot were completed
updated and several new chapters were added. The revised Consensus document and
guidelines were launched at the 5th International Symposium on the Diabetic Foot
in May 2007.
